I would like to be a spanish-english translator? what should I know about it?

Yes, first you need to decide in what professional field you would like to work, then go from there. I think it sounds like a great choice of career, there are so many places you could use it...education, medicine, government, law, etc., ..and, in our society today, the need will always be there for people with such training.|||What sort of work would you like to do? beef up on the vocaulary for it. For instance, in my area, translators are very important for legal and medical purposes, so knowing medical and legal jargon are the most important vocabularies that you need to know. In some places, it's farming implements that you need to be familiar with. In others, it's construction.|||Hiya, I am currently looking for translators for my translation projects. If you are interested here is the website you can create a user in and get translation jobs. It's strictly freelance: http://www.ruxatranswrite.com . Good luck!
