Where can I get a Translator's license for English-Spanish speakers.h?

I have been reading on the web that some places require a translator to have a Translator's license. I have studied a BA in English Language, my specific area was translation and I'd like to be able to work in that field, because currently I am working as an English teacher, can anyone tell me how to obtain that? Thanks for your help guys.Where can I get a Translator's license for English-Spanish speakers.h?

I usually type/paste the same phrase into both of them and if they come up with the same answer then sounds good to me... if they come up with something odd or just return with the english word, I usually pick a different word or sentence usage...

And just to be a smart ***...

All translators are rubbish but heres what i suggest you try, use a translator to translate a sentence, then compare it to pages on the web,it will give you the closest comparisons/recommendations, this way at least you will have a fair idea if the translation is correct.Time consuming maybe but as you want to keep it personal,it may help.

Or google or IM translators online. :)English to spanish translator and vice versa:?
i wouldn't recommend using altavista babelfish because it translates verbs really wierdly.. i would use either google translator, a dictionary, or try rosetta stone if you wanted to

Any reputable company would have paid a translator or someone to write such an ad. It doesn't seem right to me that you're having people do translation work (no matter how small) for free. This is the ultimate "intellectual sweatshop", if you will.

Is there any website that has free audio in english to spanish translator?

    Hola greginlbc,

The previous poster is right. However, if you are interested in audio files, these websites are great resources:

Considering that on-line translators are all highly inaccurate, the addition of audio would make them completely laughable. The answer to your question is a hearty NO.

Sorry if what I say doesn't make sense, but lets say that you type in the sentence "Are you afraid, little sister?" in English

the Spanish translation is "驴Tienes miedo, hermanita?"

is this what a Spanish speaker would say in real life? Or does it not make sense? Is it just translating each word individually?

also, if you're writing a story and you want your character to say something in Spanish, when they usually speak English, would it be okay to use the Google translator to get the Spanish sentences?A question about translating english words into Spanish on the Google translator?
In this particular case, it does make sense and some people would actually say that. But most of the time online translators are unreliable as they translate things literally, word for word, and many times don't even make sense. So I would not trust any online translators, and many people avoid them.A question about translating english words into Spanish on the Google translator?
    'Yo' is right.

You got the correct translation but it doesn't often happen. Translators on line suck!!!!
